Role Overview
As an Overnight Guest Service Agent, your warm and personalized interactions will define exceptional hospitality. Beyond standard check-in and check-out duties, you will delight guests by sharing local insights and anticipating their needs, enhancing their stay experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Night Manager with preparation and verification of reports and statistical data in line with service standards and audit processes.
- Reconcile food and beverage POS transactions and credit card payments to journal reports.
- Welcome guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, respond promptly to requests, and settle accounts with outstanding service.
- Provide assistance to other departments during overnight shifts to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Candidate Requirements
- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to engage guests through storytelling and anticipating their preferences.
- Previous experience with night audit or front office operations.
- Familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and Opera or a similar property management system.
- POS system experience is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills capable of quick thinking.
- Unrestricted full driver's license preferred; comfortable driving automatic and manual vehicles.
- Proficient English communication, both spoken and written; additional language skills are a plus.
- Mandatory Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.
- Full legal authorization to work in Australia.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays is essential.
