Overnight Associate

Position Overview

The Overnight Associate plays a vital role in delivering excellent customer service by managing tasks related to receiving and facilitating merchandise movement onto the sales floor. Night shift responsibilities include unloading trailers, transferring pallets to the sales area, and aiding with merchandise processing, all while maintaining a safe and orderly environment. Team collaboration is essential for strategically managing workload and operational requirements throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the sales floor ahead of the store's opening time.
• Set up merchandising displays and proper signage for featured products.
• Conduct live unloading of various merchandise shipments during the overnight shift.
• Focus on labeling merchandise and organizing stock in backroom bins—this distinguishes the role from day or evening fulfillment tasks.
• Move pallets of goods between the sales floor and storage areas for overnight processing.
• Assist with stocking the sales floor as directed and provide customer support if needed during shift hours.
• Label and organize the sales floor to ensure readiness for store opening.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free working space by following company policies, completing safety sweeps, and securing displays and fixtures properly.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $17.35 per hour.

Minimum Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
