Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the organization, cleanliness, and zoning of the Dairy/Frozen department to ensure continuous customer readiness.
• Perform regular stock rotation and check for expired products to preserve freshness and quality standards.
• Accurately price and sign merchandise, strictly following company protocols for ordering, clearance, markups, markdowns, and labeling.
• Comply with cold chain and food safety standards, including temperature monitoring, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, date management, and sanitation procedures.
• Support merchandising by maintaining department features that uphold promotion and merchandising standards.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and hazard-free work area by removing debris, spills, and adhering to company policies and Health and Safety guidelines.
• Offer flexibility in work schedule to cover various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.

Challenges

• Manage high task volumes effectively in a fast-paced environment, including overnight shifts.
• Maintain energy and focus throughout shifts by planning accordingly.
• Handle physical demands such as prolonged standing, repetitive stocking, bending, and lifting items weighing up to 20 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Compensation

The starting hourly rate for this role is $16.90.
