Job description
Position Overview
This role focuses on providing excellent customer service by handling tasks related to receiving inventory and managing merchandise flow from storage to the sales floor efficiently and safely. The associate collaborates within a team to prioritize and complete duties based on workload and operational needs in a clean workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the sales area for the store's daily opening.
- Set up merchandise displays, including merchandising and signage for featured items.
- Handle live unloading of varied merchandise shipments.
- Focus on labeling merchandise and organizing stock within backroom storage bins.
- Transport pallets to and from the sales floor during overnight hours for processing.
- Support sales floor stocking tasks and provide customer assistance when required.
- Label and organize sales floor areas in preparation for opening.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free workspace by following company safety policies, completing safety sweep logs, and securing fixtures and displays.
Compensation
The minimum hourly wage for this position starts at $17.75.
