Overnight Associate

Overview

This position involves supporting customer service by managing merchandise flow from receiving to the sales floor during overnight hours. Key duties include unloading trailers, pulling pallets, processing merchandise, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. The role requires teamwork to prioritize and execute tasks based on workload and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the sales floor for the store opening each morning.
• Set up merchandising displays and signage for promotions and features.
• Carry out live unloading of diverse merchandise items.
• Focus on labeling and organizing merchandise into backroom bins or stock areas, distinguishing this role from day or evening fulfillment positions.
• Move pallets of merchandise between the sales floor and backroom for overnight processing.
• Assist with stocking the sales floor and provide customer service as needed.
• Label merchandise and sales floor areas appropriately for store opening.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free workspace by following company policies and procedures, completing safety sweep logs, and securing displays and fixtures.

Compensation

The minimum starting hourly wage for this position is $18.40 CAD.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
