Overnight Assistant Manager

Position Overview

This role supports the Store Manager by overseeing store operations in line with company standards, leading associates to deliver excellent customer service, and driving profitable sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute as a member of the Store Management Team to achieve sales and profit targets through effective budget and forecast management.
• Analyze sales and financial data, market trends, and community needs to adapt strategies and control expenditures.
• Develop operational plans with management, delegate tasks clearly, and maintain optimal store conditions with accurate merchandize presentation, pricing, and compliance with company policies.
• Implement and assess new store programs focused on a specific area (e.g., Front End, Back End, Fresh, Operations) and maintain cross-training to ensure proficiency across store departments.
• Oversee asset protection, execute safety protocols, and ensure compliance with company policies, including quality assurance and recordkeeping.
• Act as a customer service ambassador by engaging with customers, addressing feedback and complaints within company guidelines to enhance the shopping experience.
• Support community initiatives by participating in events and fostering relationships with local groups to integrate the store within the community.
• Lead and engage associates through regular meetings, recognizing achievements, promoting professional development, and identifying high-potential team members.
• Uphold company values in managing employee performance through clear, respectful feedback and disciplinary procedures when necessary.
• Collaborate with district support staff including HR managers to maintain effective relationships.
• Ensure compliance with company standards when handling sensitive merchandise (e.g., alcohol, ammunition, narcotics) and manage cash controls handling up to $250,000 daily.

Salary Information

The salary for this position ranges from $56,100.00 to $66,642.50 annually and is based on relevant experience.

Candidates must be at least 16 years of age or older.
