Job description
Position Overview
The Over-the-Counter Associate plays a key role in assisting customers, managing their assigned departmental area, and supporting the Pharmacy Manager by executing delegated tasks. The associate is responsible for maintaining merchandise displays and ensuring an exceptional level of customer service in line with Walmart's core values.
Key Duties
- Safeguard patient privacy in strict compliance with the Privacy Act.
- Drive department sales and profitability under guidance from the Pharmacy Manager.
- Regularly rotate inventory and verify product expiration dates.
- Keep the department organized through effective zoning.
- Adhere to established protocols for ordering stock, managing clearances, handling markup and markdown activities, and appropriately tagging, pricing, and labeling items.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment free from obstructions, debris, and spills.
- Ensure accuracy in pricing to eliminate errors, including adherence to scanning credibility standards.
- Perform calibration of devices used in the prescription fulfillment process.
Compensation
The starting hourly wage for this position is CAD 17.75.
