Over-the-Counter Associate

Position Overview

The Over-the-Counter (OTC) Associate plays a crucial role in assisting customers, managing the assigned OTC department area efficiently, and supporting tasks assigned by the OTC Department Manager or Pharmacy Manager. The position requires upholding customer service excellence by aligning with Walmart's core beliefs and values.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure patient confidentiality and comply with all regulations related to privacy.
• Work towards increasing department sales and profitability under the guidance of the Pharmacy Manager.
• Regularly rotate stock and monitor products for expiry dates.
• Maintain orderly zoning and organization of the department.
• Adhere to proper procedures for ordering stocks, clearances, price adjustments, and labeling processes.
• Keep the department clean and free from clutter, debris, fixtures, and liquids.
• Maintain accurate pricing to avoid errors, including adherence to the Scanning Credibility Program.
• Calibrate equipment utilized in prescription filling procedures to ensure proper functioning.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $17.75 CAD.

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 16 years of age or older.
