Order Picker Full Time - Mississauga

Responsibilities

• Obtain and prioritize pick lists to efficiently assemble orders from store merchandise.
• Carefully pack and label orders to prevent damage during transport and store orders appropriately until shipment.
• Perform customer order-related transactions at the Service Desk, including POS sales, returns, and managing customer communications.
• Load delivery vehicles and assist with curbside orders while adhering to safety guidelines.

Safety and Compliance

• Adhere to all safety and loss prevention policies.
• Safely move merchandise using the proper equipment from staging to overhead storage and vice versa.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Perform physical activities including walking, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and transporting items.
• Occasionally lift and move heavy or bulky products without assistance.
• Climb ladders up to 12-16 feet to retrieve or stock merchandise.
• Work flexible schedules including overnight shifts, evenings, and weekends.
• Operate in a warehouse environment that may be dusty, noisy, and subject to temperature variations due to open doors and forklift gas emissions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• One to two years of retail or distribution experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with operating reach trucks and order picker machines is an asset.

Additional Information

• Reports directly to the Service Desk Department Supervisor.
• The salary range for this position is $20.35 to $22.10 per hour.
• Artificial Intelligence tools are used during the screening and assessment process to ensure a consistent and fair hiring experience, with human oversight throughout.
