About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage Level 2 and Level 3 Oracle database administration for both on-premises and cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.
- Focus on eliminating end-of-life (EOL) software components, ensuring patch compliance, continuous monitoring, and maintaining operational stability.
- Address version fragmentation and patch discrepancies across multiple geographic regions.
- Lead transformation initiatives of the Oracle database estate within hybrid environments, targeting EOL removal, harmonization across regions, patch governance, and cost reduction aligned with client cloud modernization strategies.
Tools and Platforms
- Monitoring solutions such as SolarWinds and Grafana.
- IT Service Management and Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations tools including ServiceNow and ITOM.
- Oracle native database utilities, including RMAN for backup and recovery, and Data Guard for disaster recovery.
- Cloud services utilizing Amazon Web Services, specifically RDS and EC2-hosted Oracle databases.
