Job description
Position Overview
We seek an experienced Operations Technology Subject Matter Expert (SME) to enhance and support rapidly growing technology-driven operations. This role serves as a liaison among Operations, Product, and Technology teams to ensure seamless project launches, reliable system processes, and outstanding customer experiences. The successful candidate will address system-related issues, verify operational processes, and help prepare operations to achieve effective launch-day results for new locations and products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage operational readiness and launch support to confirm that workflows, tools, and procedures perform as designed.
- Collaborate with Tech, Product, and Operations teams to diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently.
- Perform organized testing, confirm procedural accuracy, and detect discrepancies prior to launch.
- Support validation of data related to operational procedures and customer commitments.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to fix defects and guarantee readiness before going live.
- Oversee post-launch performance, escalate challenges as necessary, and spearhead root cause analysis and correction expediently.
- Recognize recurring issues, suggest sustainable solutions, and participate in initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with stakeholders, including documentation and progress updates.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Operations, or a comparable area.
- Between 1 to 5 years of experience in operations, technical assistance, or coordination roles interfacing with product or technology teams.
- Proven experience in diagnosing and resolving system or process-related problems.
- Competence in handling data, verifying accuracy, and performing fundamental data analysis using tools such as Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Strong organizational capabilities to juggle multiple priorities in dynamic and uncertain work environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background supporting technology-driven operations or launch projects.
- Knowledge of workflow testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), or formal defect validation procedures.
- Capability to perform root cause analyses, identify trends, and propose lasting enhancements.
- Experience engaging with product, technology, or last-mile fulfillment teams.
- Robust problem-solving skills complemented by a proactive mindset and personal accountability.
