Carwah is a prominent digital car rental platform operating in Saudi Arabia, connecting a network of over 120,000 vehicles and 1,300 rental locations across 45 cities and airports. Established in 2018, the company aims to simplify and accelerate mobility by providing a user-friendly platform enabling customers to book rental cars quickly. Carwah has pioneered the use of innovative cloud yards to optimize rental logistics, speed delivery, and support scaling efforts for its rental partners called Allies. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire operations and booking process from reservation receipt to vehicle handover, through active rental period, and vehicle return and closure.
- Manage and supervise the operations team and coordinators, including planning shifts, assigning tasks, and overseeing daily performance.
- Monitor bookings in real time to resolve any delays, conflicts, or customer complaints promptly.
- Measure and report key performance indicators such as booking turnaround, fleet utilization, punctual delivery/pickup, customer satisfaction, and cancellation/no-shows.
- Generate regular operational reports for management outlining trends, difficulties, and areas for process improvement.
- Collaborate effectively with fleet management, customer support, and partner rental offices to ensure smooth operational handoffs and vehicle availability.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement strategies to increase productivity and lower costs.
- Conduct training, coaching, and onboarding of new team members to uphold procedure and quality standards.
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies, safety protocols, and service level agreements.
Candidate Profile
- Preferably holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field, though not mandatory.
- Between 1 to 3 years of experience in operations, logistics, fleet management, or a similar supervisory capacity; experience in car rental or mobility services is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Familiarity with KPI monitoring and reporting tools such as Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude with capacity for rapid decision-making in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken Arabic and English languages preferred.
- Experience working with booking or reservation management platforms or similar operational software.
- Highly organized and meticulous with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
