Role Overview

We are actively seeking a motivated, experienced Saudi national to fulfill the role of Operations Manager in Saudi Arabia. This position involves guiding business development, overseeing contract management, and sustaining exceptional customer satisfaction levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of projects adhering to DNV's standards, policies, procedures, and comply with applicable Saudi laws.
• Collaborate with global and regional service line leaders to provide cohesive service offerings.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and support a professional team, ensuring a positive, productive workplace and achievement of objectives.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on business performance, client satisfaction, and market dynamics to senior leadership.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with main customers and stakeholders, resolving issues promptly.
• Facilitate client meetings to confirm agreement on project scope and deliverables.
• Manage current contracts ensuring adherence to terms, with responsibility for negotiations related to renewals or modifications.
• Conduct thorough market research to monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and new business prospects, translating findings into strategic recommendations.
• Assume full ownership of the unit’s Profit & Loss results, striving to meet revenue, profit, and expansion goals.
• Analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and cost structures, to evaluate budget adherence and operational expenses.
• Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting jointly with regional and global teams.
• Drive initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce costs while preserving high service standards and client satisfaction.
• Enforce financial discipline on projects and contracts to optimize profitability and cash flow.
• Provide financial and business insights to senior management to guide strategic decisions.
• Supervise the financial elements of contracts including pricing, margins, invoicing, and collections.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Process Engineering.
• Extensive experience in operations, contract management, business development, and customer relationship management within the TIC sector in Saudi Arabia.

Skills and Competencies

• Proven leadership and capability to manage teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong customer relationships at executive levels.
• Strategic mindset and problem-solving proficiency.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English.
