Role Overview

The Operations Lead for Microsoft Cybersecurity will oversee the configuration, improvement, governance, and operational performance of Microsoft's security ecosystem for our Managed Services clientele. By offering strong technical leadership and fostering ongoing enhancements, this position ensures clients derive maximum benefit from their Microsoft security investments while upholding a resilient cybersecurity stance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the setup, administration, and fine-tuning of Microsoft security platforms alongside allied technologies.
  • Collaborate across DEFEND teams to establish and uphold security baselines, policies, and standards aligned with recognized industry frameworks and best practices.
  • Continuously improve the products and services delivered to clients.
  • Monitor platform operational health and efficacy while proactively spotting areas for enhancements.
  • Engage with customer stakeholders to comprehend security goals and translate them into actionable Microsoft security control implementations.
  • Analyze new platform capabilities and propose upgrades that advance security outcomes.
  • Contribute platform expertise to incident response activities and offer insights on security controls.
  • Coordinate efforts with engineering, detection, and response teams to ensure effective functioning of security controls across customer environments.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft cybersecurity products.
  • Thorough knowledge of identity security, device management, and Zero Trust security principles.
  • Experience in designing and deploying Conditional Access and Intune policies.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Capable of balancing operational support duties with strategic platform enhancements.
  • Proficient in documentation, reporting, and governance processes.
  • Dedicated to continuous learning and optimizing platform performance.
