Key Responsibilities

• Operate X-Ray screening devices to examine incoming and outgoing cargo shipments ensuring all are screened as per security protocols before transit.
• Maintain consistent and timely cargo flow without compromising screening procedures.
• Ensure full compliance with aviation security regulations from DGCA, BCAS, DGR, and internal Standard Operating Procedures.
• Detect and report suspicious, restricted, or prohibited items swiftly and coordinate secondary inspections when necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity during all screening processes.
• Keep accurate records of X-Ray screening operations, prepare daily and exception reports, and support audits.
• Perform daily equipment checks prior to operations; report faults and liaise with maintenance for quick resolution.
• Collaborate effectively with various teams including Hub and Gateway Operations, Security, Ground, and Commercial teams to optimize cargo handling and minimize delays.
• Engage in continuous learning and refreshing of screening certifications and recommend process enhancements to improve security and efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

• Graduate degree in any discipline.
• Certification in Aviation Security or Cargo Security is preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, aviation security, cargo operations, or express distribution.
• Prior use of X-Ray screening equipment is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Dangerous Goods Regulations and aviation security protocols is a plus.
