About the Role

We seek to hire a proactive and methodical Operations Coordinator to support our branch operations at the Central Coast, NSW location. This pivotal position coordinates driver schedules, manages inventory and stocktakes, oversees purchase orders and invoicing, and ensures site administration runs smoothly. Reliability for an early start on Mondays is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between drivers and internal teams, ensuring efficient, compliant job execution and swift resolution of any queries.
- Administer driver payments, purchase orders, receipting, and financial reconciliations according to company protocols.
- Assist with the training and onboarding processes of new drivers.
- Oversee inventory and stocktake operations, including tracking, reporting, and investigating any inconsistencies.
- Manage invoicing and contract-related administration by generating, reviewing, correcting invoices, and addressing contract discrepancies.
- Provide both administrative and operational assistance to site teams through order placement, maintaining backend systems, and championing continuous improvement to enhance safety and performance.
- Collaborate with council contacts by maintaining, auditing, and updating council records to ensure data accuracy.
Candidate Profile
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with basic bookkeeping or payroll operations is advantageous.
- Competent in computer applications, especially Excel; experience with workforce management tools like UKG Kronos is a plus but not mandatory.
- Able to remain flexible under pressure within a fast-moving environment and meet overlapping deadlines.
- Confident managing inventory, stocktakes, reconciliations, and meticulous in handling purchase orders and invoices.
- Safety-minded with enthusiasm for ongoing process enhancements.
- Availability for early Monday starts is essential.
