Job description
About Kinetic Kids Club
Kinetic Kids Club is a forthcoming premium facility focused on nature-inspired movement and sensory play for children aged 3 to 12, located in Pune. Drawing inspiration from Scandinavian minimalism and emphasizing unstructured physical literacy, the club integrates free-form play with coach-led movement labs such as Kinetic Core (non-competitive gymnastics, calisthenics, power play) and Neural Lab (creative and sensory experiences).
Role Overview
We seek a highly motivated, energetic recent MBA graduate or a final-semester student available part-time to join as a Founder's Associate working closely with the Founder. During the initial six months prior to the center launch, you will spearhead key operational tasks including vendor sourcing, site management, recruitment processes, and generating early marketing momentum.
Upon successful launch targeted for February 2027, you will transition into the role of Centre Operations Lead, overseeing daily management of the facility, front desk operations, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This position is highly visible and community-facing, requiring professionalism, warmth, and polished presence.
Pre-Launch Responsibilities (Months 1–6)
- Conduct research, evaluation, and negotiation with vendors including fabricators, safety-mat producers, carpentry workshops specializing in birch and rubberwood, and equipment suppliers to stay within budget.
- Scout and shortlist commercial properties in Baner and Balewadi areas, coordinate property visits and follow up with contractors.
- Source and screen qualified physical education trainers, gymnastics and creative coaches, scheduling interviews with the Founder.
- Drive early brand recognition through Instagram and LinkedIn organic campaigns, create engaging pre-launch content, and lead outreach efforts to schools and preschools for founding memberships.
- Provide operational, administrative, and research support directly to the Founder, ensuring milestone deadlines are met.
Post-Launch Responsibilities (Centre Operations Lead)
- Manage daily facility operations, enforce safety protocols, and uphold cleanliness standards.
- Oversee customer check-ins, booking processes via CRM, and respond to parent inquiries through WhatsApp and front desk.
- Lead scheduling and management of floor marshals, receptionists, and coaching staff rosters.
- Monitor monthly membership renewals, track open-play attendance, and administer private birthday event bookings.
Candidate Profile
- Educational background: Recent MBA or PGDM graduate or final-semester student available part-time, with specializations preferred in Operations, General Management, or Marketing.
- Strong negotiation and project management abilities coupled with creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a genuine enjoyment of working with people.
- Ability to build rapport quickly, putting children and parents at ease and representing the brand confidently in person, online, and at community functions.
- Professional appearance aligning with a premium, design-forward brand identity.
- Friendly yet assertive temperament capable of firm negotiation and decisive action independently when needed.
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and enthusiasm for building a consumer brand from the ground up.
- Basic familiarity with design and video tools like Canva and Instagram Reels is advantageous.
- Based in Pune with the capability to travel locally between Baner and Balewadi for vendor and site meetings.
Perks and Growth
- Gain direct mentorship from the Founder and comprehensive exposure to scaling a physical consumer experience business.
- Clear advancement pathway from an executive intern role to Centre Operations Lead within six months.
- Opportunity to contribute significantly to creating a nature-centric play space promoting physical literacy in children.
- Potential to receive stock options with a vesting schedule after the center becomes operational.
