About the Role
The Kraft Heinz Company is looking for an Onsite HR Coordinator to join their Plant Human Resources team in Muscatine, IA. This position entails providing essential administrative support and assisting with the implementation and administration of HR policies and programs across various functional areas of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Support workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and lead process improvement initiatives including change management and facilitation
- Administer employee benefits workflows such as enrollments, modifications, reporting, and issue resolution
- Manage recruitment processes including interviewing candidates, conducting background checks, onboarding, new hire paperwork, orientation, and E-Verify compliance
- Maintain accurate employee and applicant records in line with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate and deliver employee training sessions, including orientation and compliance programs
- Handle core HR processes like onboarding, performance reviews at milestones, I-9 verification, and other mandatory procedures
- Update and maintain data for hourly employees in Workday HR system and personnel files
- Assist in promoting employee wellness through organizing educational and awareness activities
- Participate in the annual QRMP audit, supporting procedure development and implementation of corrective measures
- Carry out administrative office tasks such as preparing meetings and facilitating employee committee functions
- Plan, facilitate, and implement training initiatives for both new and current employees
- Manage employee engagement efforts, communication plans, and related activities
- Support the Hourly Labor Scheduler in managing union schedules and vacation planning for hourly staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
Candidate Qualifications
- Associate’s degree preferred; alternatively, a high school diploma/GED with 1-3 years of human resources experience is required
- Experience working with HRIS databases is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Capable of handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Strong multitasking capabilities in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently in both office and plant environments
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact across all organizational levels
- Problem identification and resolution skills
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range between $25 to $35 per hour

Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, typically 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
