About the Role

As an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate at Walmart Canada, you will engage in an energetic retail environment where you contribute significantly by picking, packing, and preparing online customer orders. Key Responsibilities

• Carefully select and assemble customer orders from various temperature zones, ensuring timely order preparation.
• Pack orders meticulously, verifying product selection, quantities, and product codes for accuracy.
• Choose fresh and high-quality products while removing any damaged or unsuitable items.
• Accurately complete all necessary documentation including pick slips and shipping labels.
• Organize totes efficiently to maximize space without compromising product quality or safety.
• Provide positive customer support and assist the team to maintain smooth operations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following food hygiene, safety protocols, and promptly cleaning spills.
• Operate equipment safely and carry out required safety inspections.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and contribute ideas to enhance processes and customer satisfaction.

Challenges in the Role

• Effectively manage overnight hours and maintain energy and focus during fast-paced, high-volume workload periods.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting items up to 20 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Complete repetitive tasks like stocking and zoning with careful attention to detail and consistency.

Compensation

The position starts at a minimum hourly wage of $16.90.
