Key Responsibilities

• Carefully pick and assemble customer orders across various temperature zones to ensure timely delivery, verifying product selections, quantities, and item codes.
• Maintain product quality by selecting fresh items and removing any damaged or unsuitable products, while accurately completing related documentation such as pick slips and shipping labels.
• Efficiently pack orders by optimizing space in totes without compromising product safety or quality.
• Support customers and collaborate with team members, balancing fulfillment duties with positive interactions and issue resolution.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, food hygiene practices, and quality standards, maintaining a clean work area, promptly cleaning spills, and ensuring equipment and totes are properly sanitized.
• Operate equipment safely, conduct necessary safety checks, demonstrate flexibility, and contribute suggestions to enhance processes, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Be open to working flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs and support smooth store operations.

Challenges in the Role

• Manage high task volumes efficiently within a fast-paced environment, including planning for overnight shifts to maintain energy and focus.
• Handle physically demanding tasks such as prolonged standing, bending, and lifting supplies up to 20 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive stocking, zoning, and organizing tasks with attention to detail to meet store standards.

Compensation

The starting pay rate for this position is $17.75 per hour.
