Role Overview

Join Walmart Canada as an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate, where you'll develop practical skills in a fast-moving retail setting. Your main role involves accurately picking, packing, and preparing online customer orders with a strong emphasis on precision, product quality, and customer satisfaction, adhering to all safety and food hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities

• Carefully select and assemble customer orders from various temperature-controlled areas, ensuring correctness in product type, quantity, and labeling to support timely deliveries.
• Maintain high standards of product quality by choosing fresh items and removing any damaged or inappropriate goods.
• Efficiently pack totes with an optimized use of space while ensuring product safety and quality are not compromised.
• Balance order fulfillment duties with positive customer service, assisting customers and resolving issues as they arise.
• Uphold all safety, food hygiene, and quality protocols, including maintaining cleanliness, handling spills quickly, ensuring totes are clean, and safely operating equipment.
• Exhibit flexibility in scheduling by being willing to work different shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business demands.

Challenges

• Manage a high workload in a fast-paced environment, particularly during overnight shifts, by planning to stay focused and energized.
• Perform physically demanding duties such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting items up to 50 lbs.
• Carry out repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing with a focus on detail and consistency to meet store standards.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $16.50 per hour.
