Position Overview
Joining Walmart Canada as an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate offers an excellent chance to develop valuable skills within a dynamic retail environment. This role involves accurately picking, packing, and preparing online customer orders while adhering to product quality, safety, and hygiene standards. Your efforts contribute to providing a smooth online shopping experience that builds customer confidence and loyalty.
Key Duties
- Carefully select and assemble customer orders from various temperature-controlled zones ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Confirm product selection, counts, and codes while packaging efficiently to maximize space and protect product quality.
- Inspect products to select fresh, high-quality items and discard any damaged or unsuitable goods.
- Accurately complete all required documentation such as pick slips and shipping labels.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area by following food safety and hygiene protocols, including spill cleanup and ensuring the cleanliness of totes.
- Operate equipment safely and perform mandatory safety checks regularly.
- Provide helpful customer interactions and assist in resolving issues as they arise.
- Adapt to varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business demands.
Challenges You May Face
- Manage a high volume of tasks efficiently in a fast-evolving retail setting, particularly during overnight shifts.
- Perform physically demanding tasks such as standing for long durations, bending, lifting items up to 50 pounds, and repetitive stock organization activities.

Compensation
The starting pay rate is $16.90 per hour.
