Role Overview

This position involves managing commercial and physical logistics for fuel and gas oil trading operations, with potential to support other product teams in the future. The role ensures smooth execution of trades post-deal by coordinating contract activities, providing market insights to traders, and arranging shipping and logistics to complete transactions efficiently. In addition, the role contributes to researching new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee complete operational processes of oil trades from recapitalization through to final completion, including Ship-to-Ship (STS) transfers, storage movements, and blending operations.
• Work closely with traders, chartering teams, agents, surveyors, and counterparties to guarantee flawless cargo execution.
• Optimize operational planning, manage associated costs, and proactively identify and mitigate operational risks to ensure effective and timely trade closures.

Required Skills and Experience

• 3 to 5 years of operational experience specifically within oil trading, particularly handling Fuel or Gas oil cargo execution.
• Experience with blending activities is considered advantageous.
• Capability to enhance operational plans, cost control expertise, and manage multiple cargoes simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and risk management.
• Excellent ability to build productive relationships with relevant counterparties.
• Effective communication skills coupled with strong numerical literacy.
• Detail-focused, methodical, and dependable work approach.
• Proven ability to collaborate efficiently in a fast-moving workplace.
