Role Overview
This position is crucial to ensuring new employees experience a seamless and organized onboarding process. It covers pre-boarding and early integration stages, verifying that all necessary documentation, system access, and joining logistics are properly prepared and completed on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate onboarding tasks in collaboration with Talent Acquisition, IT, Facilities, and hiring managers to ensure timely and accurate preparation for new employees’ start dates.
- Manage creation and verification of onboarding documents against established checklists.
- Maintain precise records and trackers within HR systems.
- Communicate timelines and onboarding requirements to stakeholders and address queries following company protocols.
- Identify and escalate any discrepancies or complex onboarding issues as necessary.
- Support reporting functions and continuous improvements by tracking onboarding metrics, collecting feedback from new hires, and spotting process gaps.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate holds a degree and has between 2 to 4 years of experience in onboarding, HR operations, or a closely related HR administrative role.
Essential skills include practical experience with HR information systems, precise document preparation, data management, consistent adherence to policies, exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and clear communication abilities. The role also demands effective presentation and facilitation skills to conduct engaging orientation sessions that leave new joiners feeling welcomed and confident.
