About the Role
Join our Paraburdoo operations as an Isolation Officer, providing key technical, compliance, and coordination support to the Supervisor Fixed Plant. This role is pivotal in managing fixed plant shutdown processes, ensuring safe and efficient operations aligned with company standards.
Responsibilities
- Comply fully with all company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture, encouraging adherence and safety awareness among all personnel.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing opportunities using the company's best practices.
- Prepare isolation permits specifically for fixed plant shutdowns.
- Create detailed shutdown isolation permit plans and schedules that are effectively organized and resourced to reduce delays and optimize work front coordination during shutdowns.
- Oversee task isolation database management, including approval and review of task isolation procedures.
- Maintain integrity and accuracy of the task isolation system.
- Ensure isolation requirements comply with shutdown procedures for maintenance work.
- Operate on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster offering lifestyle flexibility.
- FIFO arrangement from Perth.

Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining safety for self and team members.
- Possession of a current Western Australian 'C' Class manual driver's license.
- Relevant trade qualifications preferred (mechanical, electrical, fabrication).
- Expertise in all isolation types, including issuing permits and authorizations.
- Sound understanding of current standard operating procedures for fixed plant maintenance shutdown planning.
- Qualifications such as RTIO Isolation Permit, Site Mechanical and Electrical Isolation Officer are advantageous.

Location Information
The role is based in Paraburdoo, Western Australia, about 80 kilometers southwest of Tom Price, situated on traditional lands of the Yinhawangka people. The operations site supports large-scale iron ore production with a long-term outlook.
