Job description
Job Overview
The Bald Hill team is recruiting a Maintenance Planner specializing in Mobile Equipment Maintenance (MEM). This role is primarily based at the Kwinana workshop with regular visits to the Bald Hill site. The working schedule follows a Monday to Friday roster when not on site. The incumbent will be instrumental in ensuring the operational efficiency of AMG assets by managing maintenance activities aligned with approved plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee maintenance schedules to guarantee safety, compliance, and effective equipment servicing and repairs.
- Leverage the Maintenance Management System to plan maintenance tasks and forecast major component replacements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely availability of parts and materials.
- Keep maintenance schedules current by monitoring defect reports and condition analysis.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through alternative suppliers and optimized maintenance planning.
- Support short- and medium-term maintenance planning to enhance equipment availability and productivity.

Candidate Profile
- Essential trade qualification in Mechanical disciplines.
- Proven experience as a maintenance planner specifically for Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) fleets.
- Strong understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling methodologies.
- Desirable experience with CMMS software, particularly Pronto.
- Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Excel.
- Valid C Class driver's license.
