Job description
Role Overview
We seek experienced and dedicated analysts to provide comprehensive all-source intelligence support to USAF OSI within CENTCOM. Positions are available at multiple locations including Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates. The Counterintelligence Operational Support Team focuses on fusing data from multiple intelligence sources to identify threats posed by Foreign Intelligence Entities (FIE), delivering timely threat information and assessments to commanders.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, track, and evaluate foreign intelligence efforts targeting sensitive U.S. national security information, including emerging technological threats to U.S. missions and assets.
- Develop expertise and train others on foreign intelligence and counterintelligence capabilities, tactics, and procedures to conduct detailed all-source analyses contributing to counterintelligence strategy.
- Create and present instructional programs on collection operation methodologies relating to human and technical intelligence under Department of Defense regulations.
- Ensure all analytical products meet established Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) and Air Force OSI standards and are properly archived in designated databases.
- Maintain familiarity with intelligence and security agencies of host nations and third countries threatening Department of the Air Force (DAF) resources, including terrorist groups and surrogates.
- Deliver training on source management, collection, and production oversight to all analysts.
- Review and comment on Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs) and Coordination Requests (CRs), disseminating intelligence reports to relevant command and intelligence stakeholders.
- Produce detailed intelligence and terrorism-related assessments as required by leadership within AFOSI and USAFCENT.
- Integrate intelligence from various classifications to identify terrorist cell structures, locations, and attack plans regularly on a weekly to daily basis.
- Conduct collection management through evaluation of field reports concerning terrorist organizations and their interrelations targeting DAF/DoD interests.
- Support target package development to mitigate threats within the USCENTCOM/AFCENT area of operations.
- Prepare and deliver briefings detailing coordination among hostile groups upon leadership request.
- Maintain collaborative relationships with military and national agencies and ensure classification and dissemination compliance in all products.
- Provide mobile training and advisory services to AFOSI units to standardize workflows and enhance intelligence cycles, including reporting on unit personnel training status for leadership decision-making.
- Serve as subject matter expert during strategic engagements such as Defense Threat Assessment Seminars and Crime Scene Exploitation initiatives.
- Travel frequently within the USCENTCOM area and possibly CONUS to provide onsite support as needed, maintaining necessary travel documentation and medical clearances for worldwide deployment.
- Accurately cite sources in all products and adhere to governing directives and standards, ensuring professional quality in reports and briefings.
Required Qualifications
- At least six years of all-source analytical experience including HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, or OSINT.
- One year of recent comprehensive analytical support in counterintelligence, counterterrorism, and/or HUMINT operations within the past three years.
- One year of analytical or operational experience involving Department of Defense priority countries such as Russia, China, or Iran.
- Six years' experience in developing intelligence analysis products.
- Strong writing, briefing, and communication skills, capable of effective participation in combined and joint intelligence teams.
- Familiarity within the last three years with software and systems including Microsoft Office suite, Analyst Notebook, SIPR/JWICS access, M3 or similar messaging systems, Source Operations Management Module (SOMM), Proton or equivalent databases, Intellink, CIDNE, CIA WIRE, HOT-R/CHROME, NCTC Online, J2 DCP Portal; knowledge of AFOSII2MS/CI2MS preferred.
- Possession of a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
Preferred Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree in disciplines such as international affairs, national security, Arabic studies, international business, terrorism analysis, intelligence/counterintelligence, or related fields.
- Relevant regional expertise in Southwest Asia.
Compensation
Salary range estimated between $125,000 and $135,000 annually, subject to variation due to job duties, qualifications, market, and other factors.
