About the Role
We are seeking a diligent and experienced NPI Documentation Specialist to join a reputable manufacturing and technology company in Shannon, Ireland. This role involves working cross-functionally with various departments focusing on product documentation, compliance adherence, change management, and process coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain product documents ensuring alignment with product standards, applicable legislation, and market needs.
- Handle preparation and management of labels, packaging, user manuals, datasheets, and other essential documentation.
- Create and maintain product Bills of Materials (BOM) within the ERP system tailored for applicable markets.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to guarantee that packaging content is accurate and complies with regulations.
- Coordinate with sales offices to facilitate review and validation processes for product documentation.
- Evaluate change requests, verify their validity, and define appropriate lead times for implementation.
- Manage and supervise the execution of changes related to product documentation.
- Liaise with Purchasing teams concerning delivery schedules for both new and revised documentation.
- Document and effectively communicate product modifications to relevant internal and external parties.
- Support Production teams by providing guidance and clarification on product changes and associated documentation.
- Offer daily assistance to Production regarding inquiries related to documentation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Business & Law, or an equivalent qualification.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English with excellent communication skills.
- Strong command of IT, particularly Microsoft Office, Teams, and web-based systems.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills capable of multitasking effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to managing documentation.
- Ability to work autonomously and contribute positively as a team member.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Exhibits a proactive, energetic, and positive demeanor.
- Demonstrates high levels of professionalism, reliability, and integrity.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, engineering, quality assurance or NPI environments is advantageous.
- Fluency in German is considered a strong asset.
