Night Porter

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and attentive Night Porter to work overnight shifts at Holiday Inn Glasgow Airport. This role involves supporting hotel operations during quiet hours to ensure guests experience a secure, welcoming, and well-managed environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and requests during the night.
• Maintain and enforce safety and security protocols throughout the premises overnight.
• Conduct regular security patrols across the hotel facilities.
• Offer general support to various hotel departments during night hours as necessary.
• Assist with minor maintenance and housekeeping duties when required.
• Prepare and arrange meeting rooms and public spaces as needed.
• Serve food and beverages to guests during nighttime operations.
• Perform guest check-ins and check-outs as necessary during the shift.
• React appropriately during emergency situations by following established hotel procedures.
• Compile basic reports and handover notes for the management team at shift end.
