Job description
Position Overview
The Night Auditor is responsible for verifying financial figures, postings, and documentation to ensure accuracy. This role involves recording, storing, accessing, and analyzing computerized financial data while managing and securing cash and cash equivalents in compliance with organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify the correctness of financial records and reports including statistical, accounting, auditing, and payroll data.
- Audit and reconcile all revenue postings to ensure financial accuracy.
- Maintain and organize files and records securely, adhering to confidentiality protocols and document retention policies.
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute various financial and payroll reports and tables.
- Comply with company safety and security guidelines, promptly reporting incidents or unsafe conditions.
- Ensure professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of sensitive company information.
- Provide a warm welcome to guests, address their service needs proactively, assist those with disabilities, and maintain clear and professional communication.
- Develop cooperative relationships with colleagues to support team objectives and respond constructively to employee concerns.
- Meet quality assurance standards consistently and perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Physically able to handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior related work or supervisory experience required.
- No specific licenses or certifications necessary.
