Network Security Engineer (Zscaler)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer skilled in modern firewall technologies and cloud-based security frameworks. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing secure network infrastructures that comply with organizational and industry security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain robust network security architectures using technologies such as Checkpoint Firewall, FortiGate Firewall, Palo Alto Firewall, SASE, and ZScaler Private Access.
• Develop and enforce strategies for network segmentation aimed at reducing attack surfaces and enhancing security defenses.
• Work closely with various teams to detect vulnerabilities in web applications and apply Web Application Firewall solutions to mitigate risks.
• Perform ongoing threat hunting activities to proactively discover and address security incidents.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possess between 7 to 10 years of professional experience in network security engineering.
• Strong expertise with firewall technologies including Checkpoint, FortiGate, and Palo Alto.
• Hands-on experience implementing cloud security solutions, specifically within AWS or Azure environments.
• Proficient in deploying Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and ZScaler Private Access (ZPA) platforms.
• Experience in implementing Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions to safeguard web applications from various attacks.
