Role Overview

This position is for a Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Administrator responsible for managing, supporting, and enhancing the AX environments. The role includes administration of development, testing, and production systems, release and deployment management, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining platform reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Microsoft Dynamics AX environments including DEV, UAT, and PROD.
• Set up, configure, and maintain AOS clustering for optimal performance.
• Conduct performance optimization and ensure high system uptime.
• Manage build and release deployments utilizing Azure DevOps and Bamboo tools.
• Apply hotfixes, patches, and oversee version upgrades to the system.
• Monitor batch processing jobs, system integrations, and overall system health.
• Investigate root causes for production problems and implement resolutions.
• Deliver level 2 and level 3 support for AX-related incidents.
• Work closely with development and IT infrastructure teams to coordinate tasks.

Required Skills and Technologies

• Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 administration and management.
• Expertise in AOS setup, configuration, and clustering techniques.
• Experience handling release and deployment management processes.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Bamboo, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Knowledge of monitoring solutions such as Datadog or equivalents.
• Capability in monitoring batch jobs and performing log analysis.
• Basic understanding of X++ for debugging and analysis purposes.
• Skilled in SQL Server querying and troubleshooting.
• Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Windows Server environments, and Azure Cloud services.

This role is open to candidates located in Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, or Pune, India. Applicants must have 4 to 10 years of relevant experience and be available to join immediately.
