Network Engineer

Overview

The Network Engineer will be tasked with maintaining high network availability and supporting cross-functional connectivity to ensure smooth operation within the organization.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain customer network uptime at a target of 99.99%.
• Manage and upkeep switches in the network as per operational standards.
• Ensure timely connectivity support for all cross-functional teams.
• Maintain accurate network databases and deliver regular status reports to supervisory management.
• Respond to customer complaints on-site and provide quality resolutions within defined turnaround times.
• Troubleshoot and analyze technical issues to enable prompt problem resolution.
• Monitor Network Management System (NMS) applications and act appropriately based on alerts and events.
• Investigate repeated complaints and advocate for corrective actions, escalating when necessary.
• Adhere 100% to safety protocols and cardinal rules.
• Ensure strict compliance with organizational processes and procedures.
• Offer structured feedback to management aimed at delivering permanent improvements in service levels.

• Drive operational efficiency by managing resource consumption including materials and time.
• Maintain quality standards and continuously seek opportunities for process improvements within the organization.
