About the Role
Join our dynamic team of passionate problem-solvers working on Catalyst projects and diverse client engagements across multiple industries such as Travel, FinTech, FMCG, Retail, Agriculture, Logistics, Utilities, Education, and Government. As a .NET Technical Lead based in Brisbane, you will balance hands-on technology expertise with strategic leadership, guiding technical direction and mentoring team members while upholding high-quality standards without hindering progress.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead ownership of complex .NET and Azure solutions, with AWS experience considered advantageous.
- Design and implement cloud-native architectures.
- Manage sprint planning, demonstrations, and technical decision processes.
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and provide early-life system support.
- Maintain engineering standards, ensuring quality and best practices are followed consistently.
- Collaborate with client subject matter experts and external vendors as necessary.
- Mentor and guide engineers up to senior level through coaching, regular one-on-one sessions, and fostering career progression.
- Deliver meaningful performance feedback.
- Participate in engineering planning, guild activities, and technical forums.
- Assist technical pre-sales efforts and shape solution offerings.
- Provide precise estimates and size assessments with a commercial focus.
- Contribute expertise to proposals, statements of work, and client discussions.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive experience with .NET versions 6, 7, 8 and .NET Core.
- Demonstrated commercial use of Microsoft Azure services including App Services, Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Service Bus.
- Preferable AWS skills involving Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, and message queuing services like SQS and SNS.
- Practical knowledge of Microservices architectures, containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and event-driven designs.
- Strong background in DevOps tools and practices, particularly Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions incorporating CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid grasp of software architecture principles, design patterns, and evaluating trade-offs.
- Experience working within agile, cross-functional teams.
- A passion for mentoring colleagues, continuous learning, and ongoing improvement.
Certifications (Highly Regarded)
- Essential: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204).
- Highly Valued: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).
- Strongly Desirable: AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect.
- Bonus: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, and Kubernetes certifications like Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
