Job description
Role Overview
Join a well-established manufacturing company located in the Tunbridge Wells area as a Multi Skilled Operative. This hands-on position involves supporting daily production activities, operating machinery, assisting in manufacturing processes, and ensuring the production of high-quality products efficiently and safely.
Work Schedule and Benefits
- Work primarily Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm, with no night shifts.
- Rotating Saturday mornings from 7:00am to 12:00pm are required, compensated at 1.5 times the overtime rate.

Primary Responsibilities
- Operate plant machinery safely and effectively during production.
- Contribute to day-to-day production workflow and support operational tasks.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and promptly report issues.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and well-organized workplace environment.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety policies and company procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing, production, plant operations, or related heavy industrial settings.
- Prior experience in machinery or production equipment operation.
- Strong mechanical aptitude paired with effective problem-solving capabilities.
- Self-motivated with a proactive, practical approach to work.
- Keen attention to detail emphasizing quality and safety standards.
- Effective communication abilities.
- Possession of a valid full United Kingdom driving license.
