Multi Skill Technician Trainer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Multi Skill Technician Trainer to instruct candidates in various technical trades following the approved curriculum and Qualification Pack (QP). The role involves delivering both theoretical knowledge and practical training, focusing on skills like electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, and general maintenance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide theoretical and hands-on training according to approved course materials.
• Instruct trainees in fundamental electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, and maintenance techniques.
• Demonstrate the correct and safe operation of hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and equipment.
• Conduct practical sessions including demonstrations, exercises, and simulated workplace scenarios.
• Explain procedures related to preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Manage classroom activities to encourage active learner participation effectively.
• Administer assessments, practical tests, and mock evaluations regularly.
• Keep daily records including attendance, session planning, training logs, and assessment documents.
• Track trainee progress and provide personalized support as needed.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures of the training center, safety protocols, and project requirements.
• Assist in upkeep and coordination of training tools, equipment, and workshop facilities.
• Support recruitment, counseling, placement, and follow-up activities associated with training.
• Work in collaboration with leadership and assessing bodies to ensure smooth program delivery.
• Complete all training and documentation tasks within established deadlines.

Technical Expertise

• Familiarity with basic electrical and electronic systems.
• Understanding of mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Knowledge of plumbing and sanitary maintenance procedures.
• Basic skills in carpentry and fabrication.
• Experience with welding and workshop operational practices.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and perform accurate measurements.
• Competent in preventive and corrective maintenance workflows.
• Well-versed in safe handling of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Comprehensive understanding of occupational health and safety standards.
