Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Motion Graphics & Reels Video Editor to join our Hyderabad office. This full-time position involves crafting engaging short video content designed for platforms such as Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, incorporating creative storytelling with motion graphics.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce top-quality short-form videos including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and promotional clips.
- Edit raw video footage into dynamic, concise content that captures attention.
- Design motion graphics, including animated text, seamless transitions, and visual effects.
- Create product launch videos and demonstrations of app features.
- Develop educational and marketing material focused on IELTS and international study opportunities.
- Incorporate subtitles, captions, sound effects, and music for professional polish.
- Transform scripts and storyboards into visually appealing video content.
- Collaborate with Marketing Managers, Graphic Designers, and Product Teams to ensure cohesive messaging.
- Rework longer video assets into multiple engaging short clips.
- Keep up-to-date with current social media trends, reel formats, and editing styles.
- Ensure all video content aligns with the iQ brand identity.
Candidate Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar video editing and motion graphics software.
- A strong portfolio showcasing creative video editing and motion graphics expertise is essential.
- Proficiency in motion graphics and animation techniques.
- Skill in short-form video storytelling that strategically uses hooks to maximize audience retention.
- Expertise in creating vertical videos formatted to 9:16 aspect ratio for mobile platforms.
- Understanding sound design and synchronization with music to enhance viewer engagement.
- Knowledge of typography principles and visual hierarchy relevant in video content.
- Awareness of evolving social media trends and fast-paced commercial editing.
