Job description
Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Mongo Database Administrator to manage and maintain MongoDB environments on Linux and Windows platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, high availability (HA) setup, disaster recovery (DR), database upgrades, and patching operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure MongoDB instances on both Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Set up and manage high availability (HA) configurations and disaster recovery (DR) strategies.
- Perform database upgrades and apply PSU (patch set updates) packs efficiently.
- Write, troubleshoot, and maintain automation scripts using shell scripting, Perl, or Python.
- Deploy and manage replica sets and sharded clusters to ensure scalability and performance.
- Apply knowledge of cloud computing technologies in managing MongoDB deployments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong experience with MongoDB installation, configuration, and administration on Linux and Windows platforms.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as shell scripts, Perl, or Python.
- Understanding and implementation experience with high availability and disaster recovery solutions in MongoDB.
- Experience with replica sets and sharded cluster configurations.
- Familiarity with cloud computing environments and technologies.

This is a full-time onsite role based in Delhi, India. Applicants should be prepared to work from the company premises as specified.
