Role Overview

Based in Perth, Western Australia, the Molder is a full-time on-site position. The primary responsibility involves setting up and running molding machinery, overseeing the molding workflow, and guaranteeing that final products conform to quality and safety standards. Tasks include preparing molds, mixing and loading materials, conducting basic milling operations when necessary, inspecting finished parts, and keeping accurate production records.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare molding equipment and materials for production runs.
• Operate molding machines and monitor process parameters.
• Perform basic milling processes to support molding tasks.
• Inspect molded products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Document production data accurately and timely.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues in molding processes.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and maintenance teams to resolve operational problems.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support safety and efficiency.
• Assist in training colleagues on molding procedures and best practices.
• Contribute feedback and research to improve molding methods and material use.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Proficient in molding techniques, particularly injection molding operations.
• Hands-on experience with milling and related machining activities.
• Ability to support team training and share procedural knowledge effectively.
• Research aptitude for investigating improvements in molding processes and materials.
• Previous exposure to manufacturing or industrial production settings is advantageous.
• Strong understanding and compliance with workplace safety standards.
• Capable of interpreting technical instructions, blueprints, or work orders.
• Possession of a relevant trade qualification or equivalent practical experience in molding or machining is preferred.
