Assembly Technician

About the Role

Quality Lab Solutions (QLS), a company specializing in laboratory equipment manufacturing, is seeking a Production Technician skilled in both electronics and mechanical domains. The successful candidate will undertake the assembly, manufacturing, fitting, wiring, testing, and quality verification of lab devices and machinery. This onsite position is based in Dahisar East, Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble laboratory equipment and related components adhering to precise specifications.
• Execute mechanical fitting, assembly, and alignment of machine parts.
• Perform basic electrical and electronic wiring along with component connections.
• Utilize hand tools and fundamental measuring instruments for production tasks.
• Assist with machine fabrication, modification, and creation projects.
• Conduct tests and quality inspections on fully assembled equipment.
• Identify and resolve fundamental mechanical and electrical faults.
• Interpret technical drawings and wiring schematics.
• Uphold established quality and safety norms throughout production processes.
• Collaborate with senior technicians and production teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workplace cleanliness diligently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic understanding of mechanical and electronic equipment assembly processes.
• Proficient hands-on skills with hand and power tools.
• Familiarity with fitting, wiring, and component installation basics.
• Ability to comprehend and work from technical drawings and wiring schematics.
• Fundamental troubleshooting and problem-solving aptitude.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt within the manufacturing environment.
• Effective team player mentality.
• Educational credentials such as ITI or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Fitter, or related technical trades.
• Experience range from freshers to up to 3 years in similar fields is acceptable.

Salary and Employment Details

• Monthly compensation ranges between ₹15,000 and ₹26,000, commensurate with skill level, qualifications, and experience.
• Full-time employment based at the office location in Dahisar East, Mumbai.
