Mold Setter

Overview

The Mold Setter role involves handling the removal and installation of molds and preparing auxiliary equipment for planned molding operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Proficiently set and remove molds following established guidelines.
• Connect all necessary utilities such as water, air, electricity, and hydraulics.
• Clean and set up required auxiliary equipment.
• Load programs into machines and robots as needed.
• Manage labeling and tracking of incoming and outgoing molds.
• Complete all related paperwork for mold transfers.
• Execute material changes when necessary.
• Inspect equipment condition and generate maintenance work orders for repairs.
• Operate forklift with a valid license.
• Contribute suggestions for continuous process improvement.
• Adhere strictly to company and safety guidelines.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the Process Technician Supervisor or Plant Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
• Basic mathematical skills necessary.
• Ability to clearly communicate requirements with Process Technician Supervisor and team members.
• Capability to handle multiple operations simultaneously.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand continuously for 3 to 4 hours.
• Capable of lifting and carrying weights up to 55 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to push, pull, and bend as necessary for job tasks.
