Modern Workplace Solutioning Lead

Job Overview

We are seeking a Modern Workplace Solutioning Lead to collaborate directly with senior executives such as CIOs, CTOs, and CHROs to address challenges related to workplace transformation. This role demands comprehensive understanding across the Modern Workplace portfolio with a focus on consulting and crafting business-driven managed services solutions that align technology to tangible business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with executive-level clients to grasp their workplace strategies, priorities, employee experience issues, operational limits, and transformation goals.
• Lead solutioning and consulting for Modern Workplace initiatives by turning client challenges into results-focused managed services offerings.
• Design and communicate comprehensive strategies spanning technology, service delivery, operating models, transformation, governance, commercial elements, and improvement cycles.
• Possess wide expertise across the Modern Workplace spectrum, including Service Desk, Digital Employee Experience (DEX), Device Lifecycle Management, Device as a Service (DaaS), security, Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, Azure Virtual Desktop, asset/field services, automation, AI-enhanced workplace tools like Microsoft Copilot, ServiceNow integration, managed workplace services, and transition/transformation processes.
• Develop solutions emphasizing business results such as improved employee experience, productivity, cost efficiencies, operational strength, security, and user satisfaction rather than merely technical features.
• Collaborate with sales, delivery leaders, architects, commercial teams, and subject matter experts to create unique proposals and secure strategic projects.
• Proactively identify and cultivate workplace transformation opportunities, supporting pipeline growth beyond reactive tender responses.
• Lead and participate in client workshops, discovery sessions, executive presentations, solution demonstrations, and proposal discussions.
• Create persuasive value propositions, solution narratives, operational models, transition plans, service frameworks, and commercial structures for managed workplace deals.
• Define governance, service management, operating models, SLA/XLA, KPI, and reporting aligned with client goals.
• Contribute to commercial frameworks including outcome-based, consumption-based, managed services, outsourcing, and transformation engagements.
• Develop Transition and Transformation strategies encompassing migration, modernization, adoption, change management, and continuous enhancement.
• Stay informed on emerging workplace trends such as Digital Employee Experience, Experience Level Agreements (XLAs), AI operations, AI governance, automation, self-service, and outcome-driven services.
• Position AI and Copilot functionalities on measurable business impact areas such as productivity, employee experience, service efficiency, knowledge management, and operations.
• Establish trusted relationships with client executives, understanding business priorities beyond technology implementation.
• Work with delivery teams to ensure solutions are commercially viable, operationally feasible, scalable, and meet client expectations.
• Support competitive analysis and develop distinct solutions that position the company as a strategic partner in Modern Workplace transformation.
• Mentor solution architects and team members in consultative approaches, executive engagement, transformation strategies, and outcome-focused propositions.

Required Experience and Skills

• Extensive experience in Modern Workplace consulting, presales, solutioning, managed services, workplace transformation, or IT outsourcing.
• Proven skills engaging with CIOs, CTOs, CHROs, IT Directors, and other senior stakeholders.
• Ability to initiate and shape new opportunities, influence client strategy, and contribute to sales pipeline growth.
• Comprehensive familiarity with the entire Modern Workplace environment rather than specialization in a single technology.
• Strong knowledge of managed services models, governance, service management, and workplace outsourcing strategies.
• Experience producing RFP/RFI responses, proposals, solution designs, executive-level presentations, business cases, and commercial offers.
• Deep understanding of employee experience, DEX, XLAs, automation, AI, security, identity, collaboration platforms, device management, and modern workplace architectures.
• Skilled in linking technology investments to business benefits including productivity gains, improved employee experience, risk mitigation, and operational efficiencies.
• Commercially savvy with understanding of outcome-focused and managed services financial models.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities at the executive level.
• Experience in large global IT services or systems integrators specializing in workplace managed services is highly advantageous.
