Role Overview
The company is seeking experienced Android engineers to develop the native app experience for KIRA's AI Neobank. This position demands a commitment to polished, efficient user flows, high performance, thorough product quality, and delivering dependable mobile features used by actual customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and release Android features using Kotlin.
- Design intuitive mobile user flows related to insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and other financial services.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to distill complex user journeys into simple interactions.
- Integrate backend APIs while ensuring stability, security, and reliability of mobile workflows.
- Enhance application performance by reducing crash rates, optimizing load times, responsiveness, and memory use.
- Leverage analytics and user behavior data alongside production feedback to continually improve the product.
- Create AI-powered mobile features only when they offer real enhancements to user experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years developing Android applications with Kotlin.
- Deep understanding of Android fundamentals and experience deploying production apps.
- Proficiency with Jetpack libraries, Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android architectural patterns.
- Keen awareness of mobile user experience, including usability, edge cases, and seamless flows.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and debugging live production issues.
- Demonstrated ability to execute quickly, take ownership, and maintain high product quality standards.
- Portfolio examples such as app links, GitHub repositories, screenshots, or other evidence of shipped projects are advantageous.
