Key Responsibilities
- Maintain strict confidentiality, prioritizing customer privacy above all else.
- Work with diverse data types including text, speech, audio, images, and video.
- Produce high-quality labeled data adhering to provided guidelines and KPIs using Amazon's proprietary tools and software, supporting responsible AI development and deployment.
- Exhibit expertise in generating insightful human data across multiple modalities such as text, images, video, and audio.
- Exercise sound judgment and logical decision-making when data or instructions are ambiguous or incomplete.
- Demonstrate sharp attention to detail and agility in switching effortlessly between different task categories.
- Support daily operational deliverables for self and team across varied tasks.
- Analyze underlying causes of errors, recognize patterns, and suggest improvements to enhance labeling quality and outcomes.
- Identify and address day-to-day challenges in standard procedures and tools, proposing changes to remove operational bottlenecks.
- Take ownership in providing floor support and clarifying queries promptly during task execution.
A Typical Day
As a Machine Learning Data Associate, you will engage in foundational labeling assignments, including dialogue evaluation across speech, text, audio, and video datasets. Your ability to focus intently, multitask effectively, pay close attention to detail, and uphold confidentiality policies will be crucial. You will collaborate within a diverse team committed to enhancing customer experiences through practical generative AI innovations. Creativity, self-motivation, and independent thinking are highly valuable traits for this role.
Basic Qualifications
- Associates Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Fluency at C1 level or higher in the local language (specific language requirements depend on location).
- Strong business writing skills, capable of preparing reports, proposals, and formal communications.
- Advanced reading comprehension for analyzing complex business documents.
- Developed analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply detailed instructions across multiple projects.
- Proficient research skills with demonstrated ability to gather and synthesize information from diverse sources.
- Meticulous attention to detail when handling complex tasks and documentation.
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships across departments.
- Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and typical business software applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (may vary by location such as India).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience showing effective task execution.
- Proven ability to utilize open-source resources effectively for research.
- Capability to adapt quickly to dynamic environments with shifting priorities and strategies.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in project coordination or management, especially in support function teams.
