Role Overview

The Mission Designer will join the Mission Design Team (MDT) based in Manchester, working alongside designers, producers, and quality assurance personnel. The MDT is responsible for the initial development of new missions, maintenance of existing content, and creation of player events within the Persistent Universe.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team leads to detail high-level mission designs.
• Design, document, and execute missions and gameplay systems under senior guidance.
• Utilize in-house tools, including StarScript visual scripting editor, to program mission logic and related systems.
• Coordinate with other teams to manage dependencies and ensure timely delivery of work.
• Seek and incorporate feedback to continuously refine mission designs and grow professionally.

Candidate Profile

• Experience working on AAA or comparable game titles with a strong portfolio demonstrating design skills.
• Basic knowledge of visual scripting or programming fundamentals.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively across disciplines.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and develop skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills capable of fostering relationships with multiple departments.
• Comfortable meeting regular deadlines and managing workload effectively.
