Role Overview
This full-time, on-site Mining License and Administrator position, based in Shahura (Alefa), involves processing applications for mining licenses, permits, and renewals according to applicable laws and policies. The role requires meticulous record management, preparation of official correspondence, and adherence to regulatory and environmental standards. Daily responsibilities include assisting applicants by providing information on licensing procedures and requirements, coordinating evaluations with technical and legal teams, and generating management reports. The administrator also monitors license statuses, tracks relevant deadlines, and actively participates in enhancing administrative workflows and public service quality.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Strong organizational capabilities including handling documents, maintaining accurate records, and performing data entry tasks.
- Understanding and applying mining license regulations, government policies, and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective engagement with applicants, team members, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in standard office software such as word processors, spreadsheets, email platforms, and familiarity with database or registry systems.
- High attention to detail with accuracy in checking applications, preparing official documents, and keeping compliance-related documentation.
- Upholds ethical principles, transparency, and handles confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to cooperate effectively within a government office environment and manage multiple concurrent tasks within deadlines.
- Relevant academic background including diploma or degree in public administration, law, business, or related disciplines. Prior experience in government or regulatory roles is an added advantage.
