Within this framework, the Minibar Attendant position is integral to maintaining convenience, personalization, and meticulous care in minibar operations while ensuring product quality and precise inventory management.
Role Description
Reporting directly to the Manager – Housekeeping, the Minibar Attendant collaborates closely with departments including Housekeeping, Front Office, Stores, and Food & Beverage. Key responsibilities involve stocking guest room minibars to set standards, tracking consumption for proper billing, and upholding Rosewood’s brand standards for presentation and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and replenish minibar stock for guest rooms according to prescribed levels and quality standards.
- Monitor and accurately record each guest's minibar usage to ensure timely and correct billing.
- Coordinate effectively with Housekeeping, Front Office, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure smooth minibar operations.
- Check product freshness and expiry dates regularly, enabling proper stock rotation and inventory control.
- Keep and update accurate documentation related to minibar operations including reports and records.
- Provide personalized and professional service that aligns with the Rosewood Brand Standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Knowledgeable about Food & Beverage products and hospitality service standards.
- Excellent organization skills with great attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable using inventory control systems, POS interfaces, and operational reporting tools.
- Strong communication abilities and a warm, professional approach to guest interaction.
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks without compromising on consistency or detail.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
