Role Summary

The Accommodation Attendant plays a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of employee housing to ensure the accommodation is safe, comfortable, well-maintained, and aligned with company policies and regulations. This position involves managing room assignments, maintenance coordination, inspections, and communication with service providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer allocation of employee accommodations, including check-ins, check-outs, room transfers, and assignments.
• Keep detailed records of accommodation occupancy and maintain accurate reports.
• Address and resolve employee accommodation-related inquiries and concerns efficiently.
• Collaborate with landlords, housing providers, maintenance teams, and contractors to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Perform routine inspections of accommodation units and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Oversee follow-ups for repairs, cleaning services, pest control, utilities, and other accommodation-related services.
• Maintain accommodation standards regarding cleanliness, safety, and tenant welfare.
• Handle employee complaints related to housing promptly and effectively.
• Assist new hires with accommodation arrangements as part of the onboarding process.
• Facilitate room changes and accommodation transfers when needed.
• Monitor occupancy rates and identify vacant rooms or beds.
• Manage maintenance of documentation such as invoices, contracts, and records related to accommodation.
• Generate regular reports on occupancy, expenses, maintenance, and housing issues.
• Ensure all accommodation practices comply with company policies and local regulations.
• Coordinate closely with Human Resources, Payroll, Administration, and Operations teams to support accommodation functions.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 2 to 4 years' experience in employee accommodation management, HR administration, hospitality, or facilities management.
• Experience managing staff housing or residential facilities is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with handling maintenance contractors and external service vendors beneficial.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with diverse employees.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and multitasking abilities.
• Skilled in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
• Meticulous in record-keeping and maintaining detailed documentation.
• Customer service-oriented mindset focused on employee welfare.
• Culturally sensitive and adept at working with employees from various backgrounds.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accommodation or HR-related software systems.
• Fluent in English; additional languages considered a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to manage emergencies or urgent accommodation issues.
