Role Summary

We seek a vigilant and professional Security Officer to uphold safety for our staff, guests, and property in Lusail, Qatar. This role requires a candidate with an analytical approach and decisive capabilities to avert security incidents and effectively manage disruptions. The ideal individual is organized, attentive to detail, maintains composure under stress, and promotes a cooperative and inclusive work culture.

Primary Duties

• Systematically patrol assigned premises to prevent unauthorized access and detect potential breaches, securing doors, windows, gates, and other entry points.
• Control and authorize entry and exits of employees, guests, and personnel to deter theft and uphold site security.
• React swiftly and judiciously to alarms and investigate disturbances professionally.
• Prepare thorough and accurate reports on incidents and maintain detailed daily activity logs.
• Manage and operate surveillance systems and security hardware with keen attention.
• Carry out access control measures and security screening procedures for individuals and vehicles as necessary.
• Escort or transport individuals using motor vehicles when required, offering personal protection.
• Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and relevant security teams as situations necessitate.
• Follow all established company policies regarding health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by professionally addressing inquiries and concerns from staff and visitors.
• Keep updated with prevailing security guidelines, best practices, and Qatar-specific security legislations.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of high school or equivalent educational credential.
• Possession of a valid security guard license recognized within Qatar.
• Two to three years of relevant professional experience in security roles.
• Current and valid certifications in First Aid and CPR.
• Robust physical fitness and endurance suitable for demanding duties.
• Expertise in utilizing surveillance and monitoring equipment.
• In-depth understanding of emergency response processes and protocols.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction.
• Demonstrated proficiency in conflict resolution and calming volatile situations.
• Ability to compose detailed reports and possess basic computer literacy.
• Comprehensive knowledge of local legal frameworks and compliance for security operation in Qatar.
• Awareness of standardized security procedures and industry benchmarks.
• Capability to remain calm and rational under pressure, making informed decisions.
• Willingness to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills preferred.
• Adept at working within a diverse, multicultural workforce.
• Eligibility to work in Qatar with proper visa or permit.
• Strong organizational skills accompanied by attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt and remain resilient in dynamic security environments.
