Milk Pouch Packaging Machine Operator

About the Role

Freshyzo Foods Private Limited is seeking a skilled Machine Operator experienced in managing milk pouch packaging machines, specifically automatic or semi-automatic milk pouch packers and FFS packaging machines. The ideal candidate will be adept at machine operation, settings adjustments, sealing and leakage issues, film roll alignment, and basic troubleshooting, functioning independently on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate milk pouch packaging machinery autonomously throughout shifts.
• Conduct machine start-up trials, proper setting verification, and test pouch inspection prior to production runs.
• Load and align film rolls accurately for smooth operation.
• Maintain precise pouch filling volumes and weights to ensure quality standards.
• Continuously monitor sealing integrity and identify pouch leaks promptly.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical faults such as heater malfunctions, sealing problems, sensor errors, film tracking, and filling inconsistencies.
• Clean machines thoroughly and manage changeovers efficiently.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspect machinery daily for early issue detection.
• Recognize abnormal noises, vibrations, leaks, or mechanical failures immediately to minimize downtime.
• Keep detailed records of daily machine operations and breakdowns.
• Strive to minimize packaging defects, reduce leakage, and limit wastage.
• Assist in training a backup operator or helper on basic machine operation tasks.
• Adhere strictly to factory hygiene protocols, food safety guidelines, and machine safety standard operating procedures.

Candidate Profile

• At least 2 years of practical experience operating milk or liquid pouch packaging machines, preferably in the dairy, FMCG, or food processing sectors.
• Hands-on expertise with Milk Pouch or FFS packaging machinery is strongly preferred.
• Good understanding of sealing processes, leakage control, film setup, and troubleshooting basic mechanical issues independently.
• Formal education such as ITI or Diploma is desirable but practical machine handling competence is prioritized.
• Ability to work efficiently in shift-based manufacturing environments.
• Open to candidates from outside the local area who are willing to relocate to the Tilda or Raipur region.

Additional Information

This position demands technical proficiency beyond general packing helper responsibilities. Candidates must demonstrate actual hands-on operation skills of milk pouch packaging machines and capability to handle minor machine issues independently without relying heavily on technicians.

Compensation

The monthly salary ranges between INR 15,000 and INR 32,000.
